Thanks to all who participated in our first ever Pechanga HUTF Event!

Please save July 28, 2014 for our 17th Annual Heads Up Youth Foundation Golf Tournament at Mission Viejo Country Club.

Hello Friends and Supporters!

robfI hope all of you had a wonderful summer! For those who participated and supported the 16th Annual Heads Up Youth Foundation Charity Golf Tournament, thank you so much for making it one of the most successful events ever! This year, we are planning something new and extra. Please allow me to give you a brief summary. Three “braddahs” who grew up in Hawaii: Randy Chang, Michael Paulo, and I have come together to co-host a golf event in Riverside County.

I knew Randy from our childhood days when I was good friends with his younger brother Greg, and Randy would boss us around, haha. He’s now the head teaching pro at Journey at Pechanga Resort, and named the Southern California PGA Instructor of the Year. Michael is one of the most renowned smooth jazz artists in the world, an avid golfer and friend to the Heads Up Youth Foundation for many years.

As some of you might know, I have been blessed to have been working as a Sports Anchor for ABC7 Los Angeles for nearly 20 years now. During that time I founded the HUYF and I am so humbled and thankful as it has grown over the years, and we are able to do our little part in helping disadvantaged youth in Southern California. So, the “braddahs” have joined forces to host a new event and will continue the mission of the Heads Up Youth Foundation. This will be an “experience” that we hope you will enjoy, participating in a limited player event at the incredible Journey at Pechanga Resort.

Journey is a golfer’s paradise and if you have not been able to play it yet, this is the time! With Randy’s help, you will notice that the rate is untouchable when you include the golf, golfer’s gifts, lunch, dinner and a concert by Michael Paulo and his band. Pechanga Resort has also been so kind to provide a discounted room rate for those who would like to stay overnight and also enjoy what this magnificent property has to o”er. We are limiting the field so you will have a grand and comfortable experience. Please do not wait to sign up as we are anticipating an immediate response to this irresistible invitation. All proceeds will go to the HUYF, and will specifically be designated to assist local youths in the South County Region, which is our primary purpose in hosting this event. Hope to see you soon!

Mahalo!
